Free Legal Workshops
As a vital part of our mission, the goal of the Tenant Legal Workshop at HCC is to prevent homelessness through offering free legal advice and direction. The clinics are held every second and fourth Wednesdays of the month at HCC. This is a partnership between Legal Aid of Northwest Texas (LANWT), the Dallas Volunteer Attorney Program (DVAP), and HCC. HCC and DVAP recruit Texas licensed attorneys to provide landlord/tenant related advice during the clinic.
- The clinic operates on a first come/first served basis.
- The clinic fills up quickly so spaces are limited.
- Early sign-ups are strongly encouraged.
